The Golden Prairie Research Project
The Golden Prairie is a bioregion which spans Nebraska and Iowa. It was named after the state flowers; Nebraska’s Goldenrod and Iowa’s Prairie Wild Rose. This area is particularly important to me, because I live on the border of these two states. There is a concept in Herbalism that the plants which grow where you grow are the most powerful for your own healing. This is why I have decided to dedicate the next few years to researching the medicinal potential of our local plants. Stay tuned to my Instagram to see the many beautiful plants I find along this journey. If you would like to participate in this project, please contact me.
